Squiz - inquisitive?

While looking at Squiz WCMS, I started wondering about the origin, history and meaning of names of the WCMS I'm working with...

I searched online for Tridion and Umbraco and came up empty. If anyone has any idea what the name means or the history behind it, please let me know via a comment.

As for Squiz, there is no official version. But I did find out that the word "Squiz" is Aussie slang for an inquisitive look. Maybe that's what it means and maybe I'm correct...

squiz (skwɪz)1
— n , pl squizzes
slang ( Austral ), ( NZ ) a look or glance, esp an inquisitive one
[C20: perhaps a blend of squint and quiz ]
